Hypnosis for Social Phobia Low Self Esteem and Increasing Confidence – Public Speaking or Presentations Ipswich Suffolk or Colchester Essex
Hypnosis for self esteem and confidence and social phobia
Emotional problems stem from what people think and feel – but also primarily from how they use, or even misuse, their imagination. People often imagine all kinds of damaging things about themselves. Hypnotherapy or therapeutic hypnosis utilises the imagination to construct and embed self confidence, higher self esteem, and encourage a sense of who you are, and who you want to be.
Research indicates that socially anxious or phobic people focus less on other people and more on their own feelings. We can encourage outward focus during social situations in a similar way to naturally self confident people.
Many of us suffer from a Lack of Self Confidence, Self Consciousness, Blushing, Shyness, or Social Phobia – Hypnosis can help you regain or learn confidence and deal with your low self esteem. Best of all you can get immediate relief from underlying anxiety. Hypnotherapy and NLP can help deal with the reasons for these distressing restrictions.
We can earn and learn confidence. We overcome a challenge or reach a goal and our confidence soars!
Wouldn’t it be great if we drew on that as a resource rather than continually refer to our shortcomings?
We fear failure – but actually failure is there to teach us to do it better next time.
General Anxiety Disorder – GAD
Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe.
Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life – for example, you may feel worried and anxious about sitting an exam, or having a medical test or job interview. During times like these, feeling anxious can be perfectly normal.
However, some people find it hard to control their worries. Their feelings of anxiety are more constant and can often affect their daily lives.
Anxiety is the main symptom of several conditions, including:
panic disorder
phobias – such as agoraphobia or claustrophobiaÂ
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
social anxiety disorder (social phobia)
However, the information in this section is about a specific condition called generalised anxiety disorder (GAD).
You may find more about phobias, panic attacks, anxiety and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) elsewhere on my website. Click on the highlighted word to find out more.
GAD is a long-term condition that causes you to feel anxious about a wide range of situations and issues, rather than one specific event.Â
People with GAD feel anxious most days and often struggle to remember the last time they felt relaxed. As soon as one anxious thought is resolved, another may appear about a different issue.
GAD can cause both psychological (mental) and physical symptoms. These vary from person to person, but can include:
feeling restless or worried
having trouble concentrating or sleeping
dizziness or heart palpitations
General Anxiety Disorder can be treated with Hypnotherapy.
Confidence in Public Speaking or Presentations
Some people lack confidence when doing business or other presentations or public speaking – draw on my experience as an actor teacher and director for 39 years and my time as a Harley street hypnotherapist. NLP can also really help give you that killer confidence as a presenter

So hypnosis for social phobia, self consciousness, low self esteem and confidence can help?
Yes because we can relearn or learn HOW to be Confident by changing the script and stopping negative thinking by learning how to focus on the positive thinking and how to overcome challenges or problems.
AÂ problem seems insurmountable but a challenge can be tackled with strategy and prioritising.
As the old Indian proverb has it:
How do you eat an Elephant?
The Answer: In small bites.
So why do you lack confidence or suffer from social phobia or low self esteem?
Maybe you were bullied or made to feel inadequate by bad parenting? Perhaps you had a time in your life when nothing seemed to go right and you got into a negative mindset? Perhaps you get angry or worried or anxious or stressed?
Whatever the reasons, and we will find them, we will evolve a strategy and help you put the new strategies in place with Hypnotherapy and NLP.
Blushing:
Blushing and erythrophobia is the external manifestation of our inner embarrassment and lack of confidence or self consciousness. The Unconscious or Subconscious is very adept at learning new ways. We can remedy this by changing the response at the Unconscious level. This is where Hypnotherapy and NLP can help you.
